Our Work Packages are called "Projects" in Hive. They contain "Action Cards", i.e. our Tasks, Deliverables and Milestones.
LProject Tabs and Summary View Layouts
You can view the actions in a project in six different layouts:
- Status View -> if you like (traditional) Kanban -> best to see the workflow
- Team View -> best to see what team members are working on
- Label View -> best to see the actions within our Tasks
- Table View -> best for people who like spreadsheets and structures
- Gantt Chart -> best to see timelines and deadlines
- Calendar View -> can be synced to your calendar -> quite cluttered
In each view, you can apply different filters to view only the tasks and actions you want to see. It is a good idea to active the filter "Hide empty columns" in all Kanban views.
The new Tabs are prefiltered views.
Advanced: Summary Views
Some of you may find summary views useful. They allow you to create, save and view filtered selections of actions across projects.
To visually distinguish pinned summary views from projects, we will consistently add "> " to their names.
